90 health care workers have finished a 6-day training in community health strategies of the Kenyan government. They are now qualified health care providers. With their bicycles they are providing door-to-door service to people in need. The training ended with a ceremony in which the health care workers were awarded with a certificate. The next step is the training in bicycle issues. The project runs succesfully due to the efforts of Cycling out of Poverty’s local coordinator for the bike4work projects in Nyanza Kenya: Clifford Okoth. Read more about this project here.
