142 health workers equiped with bicycles

Another 142 health workers are equiped with bicycles. Community health workers are doing a commendable job by providing medical advise and assistance to the community on voluntary basis. They visit households in their area, mostly on foot. By equiping the health workers with bicycles, they can travel faster and futher and reach out to more patients. The health workers are trained in basic maintenance and repairs of the bicycle. For this project we get support from Impulsis and other donors.
