On 3 May CooP-Africa organised the second Friends of CooP-Africa Event. The turnout was high, with 60 people attending the event each seat was occupied. Frank van Rijn, world cyclist and ambassador of CooP-Africa gave a lecture on his bicycle tour along the projects of CooP-Africa in Kenya and Uganda. Luuk Eickmans, director, told about the possibilities to support CooP-Africa. The programme ended with an auction, organised by students of the ‘Liemers College’. Enthusiastic they presented African art and kitsch and collected lots of funds for the bicycle workshop in Uganda. CooP-Africa would like to thank everyone for attending and contributing to the event.
