Ngeruka is a village in Rwanda where farmers face a mobility problem. There is food in abundance, but getting the products to the market is a challenge. That is why our partner organisation FAPDR in Rwanda has started a bicycle-on-credit project in this village. Farmers can buy a bicycle and pay for it in instalments. When the farmers have all paid of their bicycle, FAPDR can buy new bicycles for a new group of people. In February 2013, 25 bicycles were given out in Ngeruka. These bicycles were paid for by the revolving funds from previous groups. To get a glimpse of the area of Ngeruka, click on the videos on the right at the Bike4Work Rwanda page.
