In this Bike4Care project, volunteer health workers in Iganga (Uganda) are being equipped with bicycles for health checks, emergency visits and counselling. The Bike4Care intervention improves the capacity of health workers and the opportunity to visit more patients by increasing the capture area and speed. Bike4Care also provides a fast and efficient first aid emergency transport system. Aim of Bike4Care Iganga is to improve accessibility to proper health care and health counselling for isolated communities in Iganga Uganda providing bicycles.
