In the villages around Koudougou our partner organisation AVO gives out bicycles-on-credit. The bicycles are mostly used by the women to start up a small enterprise, such as selling ground nuts and local donuts or small farm trading between villages and other markets.
• Target group: women and small entrepreneurs
• Period: since 2007
• Supported by: private donors + I-CE
• Co-financers: NCDO
• Local partner organisation: AVO
